The hotel is located far from the city center, which is perfect to take a break from the hustle and bustle. Its surroundings are peaceful, with tropical views on the river. Staff members are kind and do their best to make guests feel welcomed. Rooms are comfortable and clean with AC, big beds, and cozy bathrooms. Breakfast offers both Sri Lankan and English food, and the hotel has its own tuk tuk for easy transportation.
The hotel lacks a rooftop area to unwind and enjoy a drink, which could improve the guest experience.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. One of the best aspects of our experience was the delicious breakfast that was offered - it was a great mix of local and western cuisine. the hotel's location was perfect as it was not in the noisy city center but still offered easy access with a short tuk-tuk ride.
While we enjoyed our stay overall, we did wish there was a rooftop area for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings even more. However, this was a minor detail compared to all the amazing things the hotel had to offer.

The breakfast was decent and had some local flavors. the view from the balcony was also nice and gave a feel of the local wilderness. the hotel location was peaceful and away from the main road noises.
The rooms were not well-maintained and spotted with spider webs in the corner of the walls. the linen seemed to be worn out and thin.
